January has been a busy month and besides all the work, I also got sick. I guess it all comes together. On the positive side: I found my crafting mojo again! It’s been hiding. But I knew if Valentine can’t tickle it, nothing will. That’s always the holiday I get moth inspired with.
I created a few projects already and the first one I want to share with you is this I made for Alpenwelt Magazin: embroidered napkins.
You might notice that I like to declare my love but always with a cheekiness that doesn’t make it too serious but still lovely. So for this project, I created those two designs:
- “Ich mag dich mehr als Kuchen” – which translates into “I like you more than cake”.
- “Ich liebe dich” – which means “I love you” but with a cup underneath that leaves open if I mean my partner or the coffee. Might depend on the day.
There’s a template for these quotes included as free download.
You might have seen on Pinterest that I love embroidery and I wanted to do a project for way too long. There might be a few more coming up. So this is your official warning. However I’m not a pro, so all tutorials are beginner friendly as well.
Just like this one. Just follow the instructions and I even made a pictogram on how to stitch. Go here to see the full tutorial (in German).
Now. Carry on!
Fabulous work, thank you.
Thank you, Ivory! 💕
[…] the holiday that inspires me the most with tons of love-themed DIYs… as you can see here and here and here. Cheesy?! Count me […]
